Today, all eyes are on China in its emergence as the world's next potential superpower. With a population of 1.3 billion and a workforce that the U.S. State Department estimates at over 710 million, China's economy is burgeoning. The country's exports alone total over $760 billion, and range from electronics and apparel to furniture and medical equipment. With the country's GDP growing at around ten percent per year, it's no wonder that companies ranging from Google to Wal-Mart are trying to gain a foothold. After all, China is a country of consumers as well as of producers, and businesses around the world see China as a ripe market for goods and services.

Edmund Konjedic has about 30 years of experience in International Trade with highlights in Marketing and Sales Management with entrepreneurship. From 2000 to present, Edmund Konjedic has been involved in the preparation of a sizable industrial project related to the natural gas sector in Brazil.
Currently, he is Managing Director of Intermach Ltda, a company he established to act as Sole Agent and Importer/Distributor in Brazil of natural gas related products such as high pressure cylinders, valves and kits for the conversion of vehicles from gasoline and diesel to natural gas, etc.
Early in his career, Mr. Konjedic, through his own trading company Overtech Ltda in Rio de Janeiro, took over the representation of Speedqueen, a major U.S. manufacturer of coin operated laundry machines, previously represented by Laverap, the company that he had been working for previously, but which was subsequently terminated by Speedqueen for breach of contract. During his tenure with Speedqueen, Mr. Konjedic was able to secure several new franchise customers.
